GFC Painted Conduits

The GFC painted conduits are designed to provide both protection and color identification for electrical and control installations. They are recommended for projects where a higher degree of anticorrosive protection is required due to the presence of suspended corrosive elements.

The high-performance anticorrosive protection is achieved through the duplex system, which combines the protection of zinc and paint on the surface of the carbon steel conduit.

When properly combined and applied, this system ensures greater durability of the product and reduces the need for maintenance of the electrical network.

One of the advantages is the 1.5x protection factor, as shown in the comparative table below:

Technical Information

The paint layer not only protects and identifies the infrastructure of the installations but can also contribute to the architectural design characteristics of the project. It can be applied to GFC conduits, elbows, and couplings according to the following types:
  • Hot-dip galvanized (NBR 5597, NBR 5598, and NBR 5624);
  • Electrolytic zinc-coated (NBR 13057);
  • Pre-galvanized;
  • Aluminum alloy.
